Platform Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Velora is a platform designed exclusively for social planning, trip and event coordination, vendor collaboration, and community-driven group engagement. It empowers users to organize and participate in experiences, communicate in real time, and engage meaningfully with other users and vendors. By accessing or using Velora, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms apply to all users, including:

Vendors and service providers

Community members and group admins
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Velora.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Velora. Certain features (e.g., vendor tools, financial transactions) may require users to be at least 18 years old.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. User Content and Conduct
You retain ownership of content you create or share on Velora, including posts, messages, images, and reviews. By uploading content, you grant Velora a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, display, modify, and distribute your content in connection with operating, marketing, and improving the platform.
You agree not to:

Post unlawful, threatening, or harmful content

Harass or impersonate others

Spread misinformation or spam

Use bots or unauthorized automation

Misrepresent your identity, role, affiliation, or authority

Use the platform for any purpose other than those described in Section 1

Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
Any form of misrepresentation — including false claims of identity, group affiliation, organizational ties, or vendor services — is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Users are required to adhere to all applicable laws while using the platform. Velora fully cooperates with legal authorities and law enforcement upon valid request, including by disclosing user data when required by law, subpoena, court order, or equivalent legal process.
Velora reserves all rights related to platform content and infrastructure. Unauthorized or improper use may result in removal of content and immediate account termination without notice. of content you create or share on Velora, including posts, messages, images, and reviews. 4. Community and Group Guidelines
Users may create or join communities and groups. Group admins are responsible for managing content and ensuring community compliance with Velora policies.
Group Owner Responsibilities
Group creators or assigned owners ("Admins") are solely responsible for:

Approving or removing members and moderators

Monitoring member behavior and posted content for compliance

Enforcing Velora’s terms within the group

Cooperating with Velora in cases of reported abuse or violations
Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in reassignment of group ownership or removal of the group entirely. Group owners assume full accountability for any legal or reputational consequences resulting from group activity.
Ownership of a community may be transferred or reassigned to a verified party who can demonstrate real-life ownership or affiliation. Users must not create or administer groups for which they cannot reasonably prove such legitimacy.
Velora may intervene or remove groups if:

They promote hate, violence, or illegal activities

They facilitate fraudulent events or scams
-
They violate local laws or platform rules
Group features include member roles, moderation tools, and reporting mechanisms. are responsible for managing content and ensuring community compliance with Velora policies.
Ownership of a community may be transferred or reassigned to a verified party who can demonstrate real-life ownership or affiliation. Users must not create or administer groups for which they cannot reasonably prove such legitimacy.
Velora may intervene or remove groups if:

5. Communication and Messaging
Velora supports one-to-one and group messaging, public discussion threads, and event-specific chat. You agree to use these tools responsibly and not for:

Harassment or bullying

Spam or promotional abuse

Distributing harmful or false information
Some communications may be end-to-end encrypted. Velora may use automated tools to detect harmful behavior in non-private contexts.
6. Event and Trip Planning
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy and safety of events or trips they create. Attendees acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks.
Velora is not liable for:

Injuries, losses, or damages at events

Changes, cancellations, or no-shows

Misrepresentation by organizers or vendors
Attendees should verify event details and communicate directly with organizers when needed.
7. Vendor Services and Subscriptions
Vendors may create profiles, promote services, and engage with users. Velora offers subscription plans for enhanced visibility and engagement features.
Vendors agree to:

Provide accurate service descriptions

Honor agreed bookings or engagements

Comply with local laws and licensing
Velora may suspend or terminate vendor access due to misconduct or violation of terms. Vendors must not bypass the platform to make off-platform deals with users.
8. Payments and Refunds
Velora uses Stripe to process payments for ticketing, subscriptions, and in-app purchases. By making a transaction, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service in addition to Velora’s.
Refund policies:

Event refunds are subject to the organizer’s policy

Subscription cancellations are effective at the end of the billing cycle

In-app purchases are non-refundable unless required by law
Velora is not responsible for disputes between users and vendors but may assist in mediation where appropriate.
9. In-App Purchases and Ticketing
Velora may offer premium features for a fee, including planning tools, analytics, or promotional boosts. These purchases are optional and tied to your account.
Tickets sold for events are subject to availability and organizer-specific terms. Users must review event details and refund policies prior to purchase.
Velora is not liable for ticket resale, counterfeit tickets, or unfulfilled events unless explicitly stated.
10. AI Tools and Recommendations
Velora may use AI to assist with event suggestions, trip planning, messaging summaries, and content recommendations. These tools are intended to support, not replace, human decision-making.
Velora makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content and disclaims liability for actions taken based on such suggestions.
11. Intellectual Property
All content and software on Velora, including branding, design, and code, are the exclusive property of Velora. All rights are reserved. Users may not copy, reverse-engineer, reproduce, or exploit the platform, its structure, or any of its contents without prior written consent.
Users may report copyright infringements through our designated takedown process in accordance with applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
Velora may suspend or terminate any account or restrict access to features at any time, with or without notice or reason. You acknowledge that Velora is not obligated to justify or explain the cause for such actions.
You may delete your account at any time. Certain data may be retained to comply with legal or security obligations.
Repeated or severe violations may result in a permanent ban. Users may appeal terminations by contacting support.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. Class actions and jury trials are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
Velora may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
